Exes' Gallery

2004-09-26

Update: Tucker Max has already implemented an exes' gallery. I am not a beautiful and unique snowflake.

So, the plan was to produce a page called "The Exes' Gallery". And it was going to be just what it sounded like - a page with mugshots of the people I'd been involved with in the past, and some text about each. The main reason I wanted to do it was because I thought it could be funny, as well as the fact that I hadn't seen it done before.

The intention was never to be bitchy or backbiting, or have it as a "wall of shame" or page of conquests. If anything, it would be pitched in a "Thanks for our time together" kind of way, and the whole thing would be primarily humourous. I also thought it could be quite interesting - I'm dead set against blogs, but thought that it could be a novel way of sharing my life with the internet. Even though the Internet does not care. Bloggers, read that last sentence again: The Internet does not care.

But on balance, I think it's best for the time being that I don't do it. It would probably be hurtful, and I don't want that. So maybe it wasn't such a great idea after all. I might reconsider - I don't know. If you want to do it, go for it, but I'd appreciate it if you let me know and/or linked back to my site. But please think about it before you do it.
