Recently, I've come over all photographic and got back into photography. I started several years ago when my Dad gave me his old Praktica Super TL, that I believe was his Dad's camera. Over the past few months I've been reading lots of books and taking lots of photos; you can see some of what I consider my best work in the gallery.
To help me learn, I've tried to write a couple of articles about photography: one about photography on a budget, and one about working with models. Hopefully they'll be of some use to you.
I'm always on the lookout for people to model for me, and I'm interested in pretty much all styles of photography. As far as photographing people go, I'd like to try everything, from portraiture to fashion to glamour to erotica to porn. I do try my hand at other styles, such as landscapes, still life, and macro photography, but I find it harder to produce a picture that stirs deep emotion without a connection to a human element. It's hard enough as it is, and I haven't quite succeeded yet.
If you'd like to model for me, I'd be delighted. I'm not in a position to pay people at the moment, but I can certainly give you electronic copies of all the digital photos I take and physical prints of the best 35mm pictures. I'm quite interested in subcultures, so if you're a rocker, goth, kinky, fetishistic, LGBT, veggie, bohemian, or whatever I definitely want to hear from you. If you just like showing off, I want to hear from you too, though, so get in touch. I'm currently based in Surrey, so if you're in the Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire/London area, that would be best. I also make occasional trips to Canterbury, Cambridgeshire, and Plymouth, so if you live close to those places we could meet up too. You don't even have to remove your clothing - despite what you may think from reading the above, most of what I do is completely free of nudity. I'm much more interested in capturing an aspect of personality or conveying an emotion or message.
Finally, if you want to buy one of my pictures, I'm flattered. I've never sold a print before so have no idea of the cost, but do get in touch and I'll find out.
